We are starting a new political cycle to make the resilient Portuguese coast. We want to take advantage of EU funds, which will be available by 2020 for structural measures of coastal protection and adaptation to climate change. There are new priorities that go through systemic management sediments at planned retreat and strengthening the instruments of planning and monitoring. And we have to be considering prospective solutions to the long-term impact (2050).But to protect the coast, including people and goods, it is necessary to inform and involve citizens.
